  • On Mar. 27, 2025, LTH Tax reminded final stage of i.EKA is approaching; from May, small businesses using cash registers will have to submit cash register income data.
  • Without waiting for deadline, about 4,300 small entrepreneurs from more than 5,600 cash registers are already submitting data; around 22,800 small entrepreneurs with 28,500 registers will still have to submit them; clients are reminded of obligation by letters through My STI; detailed most important information to know, how to prepare.

On Feb. 20, LTH Tax reminded of the obligation to send receipts' data.

  • Follows LTH GVT Feb. 2025 registered bill extending data submission date, #244403.
  • Main Points
  • To entrepreneurs who were obliged to start submitting data to i.EKA from 2023, but have still not done so, LTH Tax is currently sending reminders via the My STI platform.
  • Taking into account the supply of cash registers on the market at the beginning of the smart electronic cash register (i.EKA) project, LTH Tax made exceptions to liability.
  • Businesses that are required to use cash registers had to conclude contracts with service companies for cash registers' installation, preparation for data submission.
  • Currently used cash registers can be modified to automatically and regularly transfer data to i.EKA, i.e., additional software/hardware can be installed if necessary.
  • In case of a buy of a new cash register, businesses can choose a regular cash register with an i.EKA-adapted security module or cash registers using virtual fiscalization.
  • Effectiveness
  • The tolerance period to submit data is until May 1, 2025.
