On Jul. 17, RUS PRL approved bill to reduce SME reporting burden.
RUS PRL approved bill on amendments to art 5 of law on the development of SMEs in Russia and law on official statistical accounting and state statistics system in Russia.
Proposals
The bill significantly reduces reporting burden on SMEs, improves forms of reporting they provide, and eliminates practice of duplicating it for various department.
In order to provide information support for official statistical accounting, RUS PRL will create an information system digital analytical platform for providing statistical data.
The operating procedure of which will be established by the Government of Russia.
Its creation/operation are ensured by the executive body authorized by RUS GVT.
The implementation of the bill in the context of digitalization of statistical accounting will ensure a significant reduction in volume of statistical reporting by SMEs.
It will also simplify the collection, transfer as well as the use of such information.
Jul. 2024 Law Issued
On Jul. 22, 2024, RUS GVT issued law 206-FZon amendments to art 5 of law on the development of SMEs in Russia and law on official statistical accounting and state statistics system in Russia
The law enters into force on Jan. 1, 2025, except for certain provision that enter into force in Apr. 1, 2025, Jan. 1, 2027, Jan. 1, 2028 and Jan. 1, 2029.
