Thai SSO reminded employers to submit their 2024 annual wage report, by Feb. 28.
Reporting Obligation
The report is required to ensure compliance, employee benefits, detailing actual wages paid in 2024; employers must pay additional contributions if wages exceed estimate.
Employers can submit report online or in person at SSO offices; report must include number of employees as of Dec. 31, 2024, actual wages paid from Jan. to Dec. 2024.
Any additional contributions must be paid by Mar. 31, 2025 to avoid penalties; late or incomplete payments incur a 2% monthly penalty, capped at the total contribution.
If actual wages are lower than estimated amount, Thai SSO will refund or offset the overpaid contribution in next year; employers can contact SSO office for assistance.
