On Feb. 12, RUS CB proposed amending insurance license regulation.
RUS CB proposed ord amending ord 5877-U on form for a license to carry out insurance activities and the procedure for sending it to an insurance subject (except for a foreign insurance organization), also the form of an extract from the unified state register of insurance subjects, the procedure and terms its directions to a foreign insurance organization with explanatory note.

Proposals
The proposed ordinance is based on law 4015-I on the organization of the insurance business in the Russian Federation, which will take effect on Sep. 1, 2025.
It updates references to e-document submission procedures and removes provisions on delivering extracts from unified state register of insurance entities in paper form.
Effectiveness
Comments and feedback are expected by Feb. 25, 2025.
