On Dec. 4, HUN CB issued pension provider reporting obligation rules.
HUN CB issued Decree 58/2024 (XII. 3) on data provision by funds and occupational pension providers to the CB information system, for it to fulfill its supervisory tasks.
Follows HUN CB Dec. 2024, issued data submission obligation decree, see #235965.
Summary
Scope covers: voluntary pension fund; voluntary mutual health fund; voluntary mutual mutual assistance fund; voluntary mutual health and mutual assistance fund; private pension fund and occupational pension service institution (i.e. data providers).
They will provide regular and ad hoc data/supervisory reports to HUN CB, based on general ledger, analytical and other records prepared as per accounting regulations.
Information used/stored in accounting, registration and IT systems must be preserved for 5 years from the last day of the calendar year in which supervisory reports are due.
Obligation to complete reports apply from date on which decision on activity license is final until date on which decision to withdraw the activity license becomes final.
Effectiveness
Section 13 and annexes 11-16 enter into force on Apr. 1, 2025.
The remainder of the decree will enter into force on Jan. 1, 2025.
