ECU SB issued Circular SB-INFCPC-2026-0034-C asking closed complementary pension funds prove of compliance with the first transitional provision of Res SB-2026-1692.
According to the Regulation for Strengthening Well-Being and Social Security Education created by the aforementioned Resolution.
Proof of Compliance
The transitional provision gave entities four months from issuance to design, structure, and internally approve their social security education initiatives and programs.
For closed complementary pension funds, Article 16 requires programs to reflect the characteristics of their participants.
Deadline
Each fund must send, by Oct. 12, 2026, documentation showing compliance, including the internal approval of its programs.
