On Aug. 14, SBA made disaster aid available to Colorado businesses.
SBA has made economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Colorado small businesses because of reduced revenues due to drought that began on Aug. 6, 2024.
Eligibility
EIDLs are being made available in primary Colorado counties Boulder and Broomfield.
In addition, neighboring counties of Adams, Gilpin, Grand, Jefferson, Larimer, Weld.
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits of any size may qualify for the EIDLs.
Loans of up to $2 million are available to help impacted businesses meet financial obligations, operating expenses which could have been met had disaster not occurred.
Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only, not on any actual damage.
Application Deadline
The deadline to apply for economic injury disaster loans is April 14, 2025.
