SBA Made COL Disaster Loans Available

On Aug. 14, SBA made disaster aid available to Colorado businesses.

  • SBA has made economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Colorado small businesses because of reduced revenues due to drought that began on Aug. 6, 2024.
  • Eligibility
  • EIDLs are being made available in primary Colorado counties Boulder and Broomfield.
  • In addition, neighboring counties of Adams, Gilpin, Grand, Jefferson, Larimer, Weld.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits of any size may qualify for the EIDLs.
  • Loans of up to $2 million are available to help impacted businesses meet financial obligations, operating expenses which could have been met had disaster not occurred.
  • Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only, not on any actual damage.
  • Application Deadline
  • The deadline to apply for economic injury disaster loans is April 14, 2025.
