On Aug. 27, CHL FIU reported the launch of single-key portal access.
CHL FIU issued Circular 543, informing all entities that access to the Reporting Entities Portal will use a Unique Key to authenticate individuals representing reporting entities.
These entities include compliance officers, responsible officials, and authorized users.
Follows Jul. 2026, CHL FIU required use of Unique Key for registration, #306486.
Introduces Unique Key
The initiative supports digital transformation and CHL FIU's technology modernization strategy to strengthen platform security and improve digital interactions with entities.
Once implemented, people who enter the Reporting Entities Portal will authenticate with their Unique Key and other security measures to be announced by CHL FIU.
CHL FIU acknowledges that various reporting entities use automated systems to submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Cash Transaction Reports (CTRs).
To ensure operational continuity of these processes, an alternative authentication mechanism and separate access will be enabled for these types of transactions.
Paving the way to MiUAF
According to institutional plan, the gradual implementation of MiUAF, new technological platform that will replace the current Reporting Entities Portal, will begin in 2027.
This solution will integrate processes of registration, reporting, training, supervision, and other procedures carried out between the UAF and the obligated entities.
The implementation of the Single Key and the alternative mechanism for automated systems is a key step to strengthen the security of access to institutional systems.
Effectiveness
Circular 543 is effective on Oct. 19, 2026.
