On Aug. 26, EU Enrg Exc issued final release notes on T7 release 14.0.
EU Enrg Exc published its Introduction of T7 Release 14.0 – Final Release Notes EEX.
Information Overview
EU Enrg Exc will update its Derivatives Trading System T7 to version 14.0 on Nov. 10, 2025, in line with the Eurex Exchanges’ release cycle, and interface changes will take place and technical enhancements introduced set out in Eurex system documentation.
T7 Release 14.0 will not provide backwards compatibility for T7 ETI/FIX LF interface version of T7 Release 13.1, so participants will have to use the new interface version and will not be able to connect to T7 with interface layout version of T7 13.1 anymore.
In addition, public market and reference data interfaces, including EOBI, EMDI, MDI, RDI/RDF, and the reports and data files, will also not provide backwards compatibility.
However, the EDCI will provide backwards compatibility to T7 Releases 13.0 and 13.1.
After introduction of T7 Release 14.0, Self-Match Prevention (SMP) processing will be enhanced to support three different instructions to decide how event will be resolved.
With T7 Release 14.0, EU Enrg Exc will also introduce various additional changes and enhancements, and changes to interfaces and GUIs are described in a general fashion.
Effectiveness
The simulation will start Sep. 1, 2025, with the production start then on Nov. 10, 2025.
