Restraining and Protective Orders
Bill would amend CAL LEG 527.8 so that employer can seek a temporary restraining order for employee if the employee is experiencing unlawful, credible violence at work.
Also provide employee seeking the restraining order, the chance to remain nameless, before filing petition, and prohibit court from issuing order that would restrict speech.
Bill added course of conduct, credible threat of violence, employer, employee, petitioner, respondent, and temporary restraining order as applicable defined terms.
