Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) are working capital loans available to small businesses in Ohio due to reduced revenues caused by the continuing drought.
Eligibility
Economic injury disaster loans are available in the primary counties of Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Delaware, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Union and Warren.
Available to small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofits with economic losses due to drought.
EIDLS of up to $2 million can assist in meeting financial obligations and operating expenses, which otherwise could have been met had the weather events not occurred.
Eligibility is based on the size of the applicant, type of activity and financial resources.
These working capital loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, and other bills that could have been paid had the weather disasters not occurred.
Application Deadline
Completed EIDL applications must be submitted to SBA no later than May 23, 2025.
