URY LAB issued Law 20.506 establishing measures aimed at creating opportunities for employment in the formal sector, promoting self-employment and working conditions.
Policy details
Focused on those who face greater obstacles, restrictions accessing the labor market.
The provisions include policies on active employment for the public and private sectors.
Also, includes provisions for enterprises, the promotion of education and funding.
Government organizations will prepare statistical reports for follow-up, monitoring, and evaluation.
Revocation
Revoked Articles 1 to 28 and 36 to 50 of Law 19,973, of Aug. 13, 2021, and Articles 11 and 13 of Law 19,689, of Oct. 29, 2018.
Effectiveness
The Executive Branch will regulate this law within 180 days of its official publication.
