On Sep. 1, Eurex and GE DBoerse detailed T7 disaster recovery test.
Eurex issued Circular 059/26 Eurex: T7 Disaster Recovery Test on 24 October 2026, and GE DBoerse issued Circular 039/2026: Deutsche Börse Cash Market: T7 Disaster Recovery Test on 24 October 2026, to provide user information on Release 14.1 test.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, both of the Exchanges will offer a test scenario in accordance with the T7 Disaster Recovery Concept for the current T7 Release 14.1.
The T7 production environment will be restarted at the usual time on the evening of Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, ready for the trading day of Oct. 26, 2026 for both Exchanges.
Eurex and GE DBoerse strongly recommends that all of the Market Trading Participants regularly participate in the T7 Disaster Recovery Tests, as these tests are an essential component of operational preparedness for a potential system outage in the future.
Please ensure that the firm's Chief Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer are informed about the test and that wider participation is given the appropriate priority.
Participation enables Market Trading Participants to verify that all requirements and prerequisites for a transition to the disaster recovery environment have been fulfilled.
It also ensures contingency processes have been established, coordinated and tested.
All Trading Participants are requested to provide the Exchanges with feedback on their preparation for the T7 Disaster Recovery Test by Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at the latest.
The T7 test scenario will simulate a partial outage of the Equinix FR2 data center.
The infrastructure normally used for T7 simulation environment will serve as disaster recovery infrastructure for production environment, and the co-location will remain available, allowing Trading Participants with relevant access to participate in the test.
During the T7 Disaster Recovery Test, data from production environment will be used, but this will not be transferred back into production, following the testing process.

The T7 Disaster Recovery Test for Eurex and GE DBoerse takes place Oct. 24, 2026.
