All EU participants in derivatives markets must update the notification of their live contracts made before Apr. 29, 2024 to EMIR Refit rules before Oct. 26, 2024.
On Apr. 29, 2024, EMIR Refit came into force, which involves inclusion of new data sets and criteria for notification of derivatives to the Trading Repositories (TR).
It affects both financial and non-financial entities as well as natural persons with economic activity who have entered into derivative contracts.
ESP CNMV reminds all Spanish participants of importance of complying with update taking into account need to have accurate and updated information for proper market monitoring, identification of systemic risks and protection of financial stability.
