CHI CB drafted Announcement on amending the Administrative Measures for the Filing of Enterprise Credit Reporting Agencies, to strengthen regulatory oversight, improve filing management; it also published explanatory notes at the same time.
Proposals
The amendments clarify the evaluation criteria applied to enterprise credit reporting agencies when reviewing filing applications.
The draft adjusts the length of public disclosure period following a filing application.
It revises the content requirements for public announcements relating to the online list management of filed enterprise credit reporting agencies.
The amendments are intended to strengthen ongoing supervision by expanding regulatory tools and enhancing regulatory coordination.
The draft also revises the circumstances under which a filing may be cancelled and reinforces oversight of filing deregistration.
References to the repealed 2015 Guidelines for the Supervision of Credit Reporting Agencies are removed.
