On Feb. 13, UK GVT amended 2025/26 student finance regulations.
UK GVT published The education (student fees, awards and support) (amendment) regulations 2025 (StIn 2025/162) which amends the Education (student support) regulations 2011 (StIn 2011/1986) and other subordinate legislation.
Follows UK GVT Nov. 2024 reported fees for 2025-26 academic year, see #232292.

Amendments
Amends suite of legislation governing funding for further education students/higher education undergraduate/postgraduate students in England (student finance regs).
Changes to student finance regs for 2025/26 academic year primarily concern changes to maximum fee loans for undergraduate students and changes to maximum loans and grants for living and other costs for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
This instrument also extends student support and home fee status to the bereaved partners and their children of Hong Kong and Gurkha veterans and reduce maximum tuition fee loans for students starting foundation years in classroom-based subjects.
Such as business and social sciences, from the start of the 2025/26 academic year.
