On Apr. 22, OKL INS reminded insurers of annual assessment due date
OKL INS issued Bulletin 2025-02 on market assistance program (OK-MAP) assessment.
Assessment helps fund program so it may continue to assist consumers find home ins.
OK-MAP Annual Assessment
The assessment is $150; insurers will receive an invoice during first week of May 2025.
Member means all insurers licensed in the State for both property and casualty lines.
OK-MAP members are required to participate in all program assessments and writings.
May impose penalties against members who fail to pay the assessment, including revocation of an insurer’s certificate of authority and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
Effectiveness
Assessment is due on Sep. 1, 2025
