On Oct. 14, 2026, EU CMSN published Implementing Reg 2026/1512 of Jul. 6, 2026 amending the implementing technical standards laid down in Reg 2017/394 as regards standard forms, templates and procedures for the purposes of the information provided by CSDs for the review, evaluation process of central securities depositories.
It also published Delegated Reg 2026/1519 of Jul. 6, 2026 amending the regulatory technical standards laid down in Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/392 as regards the information a Central Securities Depository is to provide to its competent authority for the review and evaluation process referred to in Article 22(1) of Regulation (EU) No 909/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
The legal texts enter into force on Nov. 3, 2026.

EC issued draft Delegated Regulation amending the regulatory technical standards laid down in Delegated Reg (EU) 2017/392 as regards the information a central securities depository is to provide to its competent authority for the review and evaluation process referred to in article 22(1) of Reg (EU) 909/2014 (C(2026)4642).
It specifies the updated information that Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) must provide to their competent authorities for periodic review and evaluation.
Details on the content of the comprehensive report that CSDs must submit detailing core structural and functional shifts since their last review; the scope of their periodic reporting has been extended; explicit breakdowns of their cross-border activities.
