SBA WAS Disaster Aid Small Businesses


On Mar. 18, SBA made disaster aid available to WAS small businesses.


  • SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Washington State small businesses suffering economic losses due to excessive heat Mar. 15 to Jul. 31, 2023.
  • Eligibility
  • Primary Washington Counties are Adams, Benton, Chelan, Douglas, Franklin, Grant, Kittitas, Klickitat, Okanogan, Walla Walla and Yakima; adjacent counties in WAS, ORE.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits organizations of any size may qualify.
  • EIDLs up to $2 million are available to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met had the disaster in WAS not occurred.
  • Eligibility for loans is based on financial impact of disaster only not on actual damage.
  • Application Deadline
  • Deadline to submit completed application to SBA for EIDLs is Nov. 14, 2024.
