IDN DEP said it is conducting reconciliation and verification to decide which deposits are eligible for insurance payouts following PT BPR Duta Niaga license revocation.
This process must be completed within 90 working days, by Apr. 29, 2025.
Claim Procedures
Depositors can submit their insurance claims within 5 years, until Dec. 4, 2029; they can check their deposit status on IDN DEP website by searching for DUTA NIAGA.
Depositors need to provide identity proof (KTP/SIM/Passport), bank account documents (passbook or deposit certificate), and company documents if applicable.
If depositors disagree with the deposit insurance status, they can file an objection to IDN DEP within 180 days of the announcement, with a deadline of Sep. 12, 2025.
IDN DEP warned depositors to beware of fraudulent individuals claiming to expedite payout process, advised them to follow official procedures to ensure a smooth process.
Effectiveness
Third batch of deposit insurance payments will begin on Mar. 17, 2025 via Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) - KCP Gusti Hamzah, Pontianak; objection deadline above is Sep. 12.
