MLY SCM reminded all public listed companies (PLCs) to conduct hybrid or physical general meetings, transit away from fully virtual meetings allowed during Covid-19.

Meeting Format
The Chairman emphasized while virtual meetings were crucial, it is important to adopt hybrid or physical formats to enhance shareholder engagement and governance.
Both domestic and international investors have shown a preference for hybrid or physical meetings as these formats promote greater transparency and accountability.
Hybrid model is recommended as it combines inclusivity of virtual access with integrity of physical meetings, thus preserving shareholder rights, fostering more engagement.
