Workplace Injury Insurance
The purpose of the violence injury insurance is to give employees easier access to supplementary compensation under the Liability Act as a result of violence, threats or other violent incidents caused by people they care for at work.
Whilst employers, such as those in the social sector, elderly, health, education sectors, are required to have violence damage insurance, it is voluntary for other employers.
Effectiveness
The executive order enters into force on Jan. 1, 2025 and applies to occupational accidents that occur on or after Jan. 1, 2025.
