On Oct. 22, SBA made economic injury loans available WY drought.
SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Wyoming small businesses to offset losses due to reduced revenues from drought starting Aug. 20.
Relief Provided
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for low-interest EIDLs.
EIDLs of up to $2 million are available to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by borrower had the disaster not occurred.
As of Oct. 15, 2024, funds for EIDLs had been fully expended; though loans cannot be funded until additional funding is granted, applications are still being accepted.
Application Deadline
The deadline for submitting a completed EIDL application to SBA is Jun. 16, 2025.
