Proposed Rulemaking
Rescinds current chapter and adopts a new chapter in lieu thereof describing the structure, policies, and procedures of the Iowa title guaranty division of the Authority.
Eliminates language duplicative of statutory language and unnecessary/inconsistent language; removes unnecessarily restrictive terms; and updates outdated language.
Amends definition of commitment and provides correct contact information for clarity.
The process to obtain a title plant waiver will be streamlined by removing the requirement that the Finance Authority division board approve any such waivers.

Comments on the proposal are due on or before 4:30 pm on Sep. 24, 2024.
A public hearing on the proposed amendments will also be held on Sep. 24, 2024.
