SBA reported available disaster assistance to Oklahoma small businesses following economic losses that occurred as a result of the drought that began on Jul. 2, 2024.
US Secretary of Agriculture designated an agricultural disaster on Aug. 26, 2024.
Eligibility
Aid is available in primary counties of Blaine, Canadian, Dewey, Kingfisher and Major.
Also, neighboring counties of Alfalfa, Caddo, Cleveland, Custer, Ellis, Garfield, Grady, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, Roger Mills, Woods and Woodward, similarly affected.
Small non-farm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, and businesses engaged in aquaculture may qualify for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) of up to $2mn.
Also eligible for the loans are most private nonprofit organizations of any size.
To help meet expenses that could have been met if the disaster had not occurred.
