SBA EIDLs Montana Drought Victims

On Jul. 24, SBA made drought loans available to MT disaster victims.

  • SBA stated Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available Montana small businesses.
  • Eligibility
  • Small nonfarm businesses in eight Montana counties and neighboring counties in Idaho are now eligible to apply for low-interest federal disaster loans from the SBA.
  • EIDLs offset economic losses due to reduced revenues from drought in primary county Missoula; neighboring Flathead, Granite, Lake, Mineral, Powell, Ravalli and Sanders.
  • Also, per declaration available in neighboring Idaho counties Clearwater and Idaho.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs of up to $2 million.
  • Loans are intended to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the disaster victim had the disaster not occurred.
  • Application Deadline
  • The deadline to apply for economic injury is Mar. 17, 2025.
