SK GVT revised Regulations on the issuance and redemption of government bonds for private investment re subscription period and time, maximum subscription amount.
Overview of Revisions
Extend the subscription period to 3-7 business days from 3-5 business days before the issuance date, the subscription time to 9:00-16:00 from 9:00-15:30 on business day.
Raise the maximum total amount that an individual can purchase annually through subscription to KRW 200mn from KRW 100mn per person, regardless of items.
Where the mid-term redemption limit is reached, a sales agency shall promptly report status of mid-term redemption applications to the Minister of Strategy and Finance.
If required, the Minister may change the mid-term redemption limit amount for the relevant month and shall announce the details without prior notice.
Effectiveness
The revised regulations will be implemented from Mar. 1, 2025.
