IND NSD enhanced its e-PASS portal functionality for submitting charge structures.
Follows IND NSD Apr. 2023 formed online charge structure facility, see #168800.
Portal Enhancements
Added capability to submit subsequent changes to charge structures through addition, deletion, or modification; in addition, introduced feature to capture billing cycle details.
Maker users must submit charge structures through e-PASS portal by Apr. 30 annually.
System auto-displays all depository participant (DP) IDs for those with multiple DPM setups; users can select specific DP IDs when charge structures differ across DPs.
Maker-Checker Workflow
Maker submits charge details and billing cycle information for checker review; system generates unique file reference number for tracking; checker can either approve submission to IND NSD or return to maker with comments; maker cannot modify.
Namely, cannot modify submitted report without checker returning it; finally, the checker must provide a mandatory reason when returning reports to the maker.
Effectiveness
Process requires completion of submissions by Apr. 30 each year.
