Highlights
Measures in points 4.4., 5.5.4., 5.6., 7.3. of the National Payment System, Payment Services text are applicable to payments with debit cards, in pesos and US dollars.
Regulate recurring immediate debit (DEBIN) to pay goods or services in installments.
In a variant called scheduled DEBIN, to which the rules established for this modality in the ordered text on the National Payment System, Immediate Debit are applicable.
Specified exceptions for immediate debit use, such as reversals and chargebacks.
USD debit card payments must be available for those who wish to accept the method.
Effectiveness
Communication A 8180 in force on Feb. 28, 2025, except point 1. on Apr. 1, 2025.
