Independent Audit for S3-Segment Entities
Proposal would allow BRZ SUSEP to require independent auditor review of S3-segment entities' interim financial statements.
Applies when BRZ SUSEP requests interim statements for prudential reasons, to ensure accounting reliability and regularity.
S3-segment supervised entities may currently be required to prepare interim financial statements on an exceptional basis.
Required statements must include management report, balance sheet, income, comprehensive income, equity changes, and cash flow statement.
Explanatory notes and, if approved, an independent auditor's report are also required.
Consultation
Comments are accepted until 30 days after Sep. 17, 2026, i.e. Oct. 17, 2026.
