SLK PRL adopted bill 727 amending Act No 5/2004 coll. on employment services and amending certain acts, as amended by later regulations, and amending certain acts.
Main Points
The aim of the bill is to modify the legal framework for the provision of employment services by the Office of Labor, Social Affairs and Family by providing activities.
Aimed at finding a job and offering suitable employment to persons who are members of a household that is provided with benefits and assistance in material need.
It is proposed to adjust active labor market measures in order to improve and streamline the integration of the most vulnerable people into the labor market.
Especially the long-term unemployed and low-skilled, to support their work integration, develop social competences and acquire knowledge and skills for the labor market.
The bill also ensures the harmonization of the legal framework, especially in the field of active measures on the labor market and support for employment of disabled citizens.
It includes changes re administrative procedures for employers, rights for job seekers.
Effectiveness
The law is planned to enter into force on Sep. 1, 2025; the adopted bill is transferred to the editorial office for publication.
