URY CB issued Communication 2024/159 for investment advisors on the preparation of the register of instructions issued to securities intermediaries pursuant to Article 310.
Article 310 of the Uruguay Compilation of Securities Market Regulations (RNMV).
The register of instructions issued must be kept electronically and kept at the disposal of the URY CB Superintendency of Financial Services (SSF) at the entity's address.
The aforementioned Register, as well as the processes for safeguarding the information contained therein, must comply with the requirements established in certain Articles.
Specifically Articles 255.2, 255.4 and 255.6 of the RNMV and the information must be kept for the period provided for in article 255.7 of the aforementioned Compilation.
Register to contain information on instructions issued to securities intermediaries.
Also, the entity must maintain the documentation considered relevant in order to demonstrate that the instruction issued in accordance with the order and procedures.
Effectiveness
Communication applies to instructions issued starting Jan. 1, 2025.
