Decision Basis
The Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU), assigns to the ECB the task of monitoring the compliance of EU all central banks with the prohibitions referred to in Articles 123 and 124 of the TFEU, as well as all the financial related regulations.
ECB Governing Council approved monitoring report covering 2024, on Mar. 26, 2025.
