DEN GVT issued Order on permission to operate service business in DEN for certain insurance companies with headquarters in UK made pursuant to Section 60 and Section 316(1) of Act No. 718 of Jun. 13, 2023 on Insurance Business.
Applies to the following insurance companies: headquartered in UK; licensed to conduct business, including reinsurance, as described in Annexes 1 and 2 to the Insurance Business Act pursuant to the legislation of the home country, was registered to take out insurance in Denmark as of Dec. 31 2020, cf. S 49-54 of Insurance Act.
Effectiveness
Order enters into force on Jan. 1, 2025 on which date Order 2179 of Nov. 26, 2021 on the authorisation to operate service activities in Denmark for certain insurance companies with their head office in the United Kingdom is repealed.
