Linked to Readiness Newsflash Mar. 30, 2026 and to the EUREX Clear Circular 013/25.
EUREX Clear informed GC Pooling Repo clearing members about upcoming GC Pooling and GC Pooling Re-Use collateral migration as is related to Clearstream’s project UNO.
For GC Pooling Repo clearing members with 6-series accounts for exposure settlement and GC Pooling Re-Use exposures, all open exposures settling on 6-series accounts will transfer to the CBL settlement accounts as part of migration scheduled Oct. 24, 2026.
For avoidance of doubt, GC Pooling collateral for EUREX Clear any margining under GC Pooling Re-Use service will also be transferred from 6-series accounts to CBL accounts.
Clients affected by Re-Use collateral migration are requested to ensure that sufficient eligible holdings remain available on source account throughout migration weekend, as extra safeguard should CmaX be unable to transfer ISINs linked to 6-series accounts.
Following the successful migration process, these 6-series accounts will no longer be eligible for either of the GC Pooling settlement or for the GC Pooling Re-Use service.
As part of migration, various reports will be created on migration day of Oct. 24, 2026.
These reports will consist of the CE860 – Pending Delivery Report, in addition to the CE880 – GC Pooling Collateral Allocation Report, and TC850 – Repo Contracts Report.
These reports are only generated for members who have pending active exposures to be migrated to CBL accounts, and new settlement account will be displayed in reports.
On Mar. 11, EUREX Clear highlighted CBF initiative to extend offering.
EUREX Clear issued circular on initiative driven by Clearstream Banking AG (CBF).
CBF plans to extend service offering by making further markets T2S eligible.
Eurex Clear will follow market-specific migration waves towards T2S for Frankfurt Stock Exchange transactions and physical deliveries from Eurex options and futures.
Will change settlement location to CBF/T2S when an instrument is made T2S eligible.
Also offers settlement of German, French, Belgian, Dutch, Spanish, Italian XS and EU ISINs of Eurex Repo Special and GC Repo segment via CBF accounts.
A further extension to other non-DE markets for settlement via CBF accounts until the end of 2026 / beginning of 2027 needs to be analyzed.
For all other non-DE markets, repo members can continue to use the currently eligible settlement locations for the repo market.
With this initiative, CBF plans to extend its service offering by making further markets T2S eligible paving the way for T+1 settlement while enabling clients to move their current settlement activity from CBF-i accounts to CBF accounts.
Extension will lead to further consolidation of securities, EUR-cash settlement in T2S.

On Sep. 29, 2025, EUREX Clear issued Readiness Newsflash following Circular 013/25.
To support the successful rollout of Eurex Clearing-related activities in context of Clearstream’s initiative Unified for New Opportunities (UNO), EUREX Clear asked entities to provide the contact information of the project’s coordinator(s) on their side.
Information should be transmitted via MS-Forms or email, until Oct. 15, 2025.
May 2026 Market Activation Wave 3
On May 20, 2026, EUREX Clear issued Readiness Newsflash | Project UNO – Market Activation Wave 3 – Eurex Clearing's details for market activation and simulation possibility to support its Clearing Members in the context of Clearstream’s UNO project.
EUREX Clear informed of upcoming updates to the settlement processing due to the change of the custody type from NCSC to NCSC-T, as part of Market Activation Wave 3.
With Wave 3, Clearstream will change custody type NCSC to NCSC-T for instruments in multiple markets, among which only CCP-eligible markets are Sweden and Hong Kong.
The change will support settlement on Clearstream Europe (CEU) accounts, via T2S.
For cleared transactions originating from trading on Deutsche Borse Xetra (XETR), Deutsche Borse Frankfurt (XFRA) and on Eurex Derivatives market (XEUR), settlement of instruments in scope of Wave 3 will now change from activation, on Sep. 11, 2026.
To support customers for rollout of Wave 3, EUREX Clear will offer possibility to test, in an end-to-end fashion, custody type change and settlement location change for ISINs.
Selected ISINs will be set up in Simulation, to be used to test settlement location on Jun. 10, 2026 with settlement date Jun. 16, 2026, with window open to Jun. 26, 2026.
Customers who want to test migration scenarios should contact Clearstream or register on Unified for New Opportunities Project - Wave Three to coordinate securities funding for their XETR, their XFRA and their XEUR related accounts, to allow for new process.
Jun. 2026 CCP Processing
On Jun. 11, 2026, EUREX Clear issued a new Readiness Newsflash | T2S Release: CCP processing for deployment weekend 12 - 15 June 2026, informing users about the T2S Release on Jun. 15 June 2026 which will affect Eurex Clearing’s C7 SCS processing.
Eurex Clearing acts as a T2S Indirectly Connected Participant (ICP) and therefore uses Clearstream Europe AG (CEU) as a Settlement Agent towards T2S, for operations.
The T2S software deployment starts in the evening of Friday, Jun. 12, 2026, hence, CEU’s processing of settlement instructions sent after 19:45 CEST and T2S Night-time Settlement (NTS) will not take place on Friday and no settlement results are provided.
Eurex Clearing will not be directly affected by T2S software deployment, and in context of T2S Release - June 2026, EUREX Clear will aim to keep its processing towards the customers stable over the T2S deployment weekend from Jun. 12 to Jun. 15, 2026.

Aug. 2026 Equity Derivatives
On Aug. 27, 2026, EUREX Clear issued Circular 059/2026: Equity Derivatives: Change of capacity group and settlement location selected Single Stock Option settled in SEK.
In addition, also Eurex issued a new Circular 055/26: Equity Derivatives: Change of capacity group and settlement location for selected Single Stock Option settled in SEK.

EUREX Clear is aligning settlement infrastructure, as part of Clearstream's Project UNO (Unified for New Opportunities), to reflect structural change at Clearstream Europe AG.
Effective with market activation of UNO Wave 3, four Single Stock Options assigned to capacity group Physical SEK - CBF/T2S will be migrated to capacity group Physical SEK.
The security settlement locations will change from 6-series accounts in Creation (code CBF-i) to accounts at CEU/T2S (code CBF) for products in capacity group Physical SEK.
These changes are beig made to ensure consistency with Clearstream's unified post-trade infrastructure, as well as streamlining settlement process for affected products.
The various changes are made as a part of the broader UNO Wave 3 market activation.
Clearing Members trading or holding positions in affected Single Stock Options should note Capacity group change and Settlement location change, and adjust accordingly.
Production changes take effect Sep. 11, 2026, available in simulation on Jun. 10, 2026.
