On Dec. 31, ITA INPS updated on contribution exemption application.
ITA INPS said for Gender Equality Certification 2024, employers who obtained certification by Dec. 31, 2024 can apply for contribution exemption by Apr. 30, 2025.
Overview
Law 162/2021 introduced exemption from paying 1% of social security contribution for private employers who obtain gender equality certification; the benefit, up to max. EUR 50,000 per year, is reserved for those with certification issued by accredited bodies.
Message 4479 of Dec. 30, 2024 informs that companies can request exemption for certifications obtained by Dec. 31, 2024 via applications submitted until Apr. 30, 2025.
Employers can submit exemption application via online form Sgravio par_gen, available on Benefits Portal (formerly DiResCo), according to the instructions in the message.
Applications will be processed after the deadline and, if approved, employers will receive an authorization code to take advantage of the exemption.
In case of insufficient funds, the exemption may be reduced proportionately.
Companies that already received exemption in the past do not need to reapply, as the benefit is automatically recognized for the entire duration of the certification.
