Overview
Per Prov Jun. 5, 2019, cash handlers qualified as Reporting entities required to send data on recirculation activity of cash re: authentication and sorting equipment used for recirculation (data system); processed, recirculated, worn banknotes (operating data).
H1 2023 reports must be received by Aug. 31, 2023; from Jul. 10, 2023, functions to forward system (MST file), operational data (OPR file) will be available in Cash Portal.
Reporting period is timeframe within which reporting party required to fully fulfil duty.
Each cash handler is required to send to ITA CB data relating to its banknote recycling activity within mandatory deadline of Aug. 31, 2023 with complete and correct report.
If report received after that date, even as a supplement or correction to previous one sent on time, reporting manager will not be considered compliant with reporting duties
To avoid that, steps have been taken in portal to set deadline for forwarding data of Aug. 10, 2023, reserving remaining time for any additions and corrections, if needed.
