BRZ BSM published procedural regulations re consultations with the Director of Self-Regulation on interpretation of standards that BSM is responsible for monitoring.
Overview
Addresses minimum due diligence expected from participants of market management entities as well as financial market infrastructures for compliance with the standards.
Enforcement measures for participants, administrators, employees and agents and the initiation, investigation and judgment of disciplinary administrative proceedings.
Also discusses BSM-imposed sanctions, terms of commitments, and the filing, investigation and judgment of appeals against decisions the relevant BSM parties.
Effectiveness
Procedural regulation becomes effective from Jan. 2, 2025.
On the same day, BVMF issued External Communication 014/2024-PRE with procedural regulations as well as supervision standards, risk assessment and control guides.

On Dec. 11, 2024, BRZ BSM reported on foregoing procedural regulations, standards.
Dec. 2024 BVMF MRP Regulation
On Dec. 12, 2024, BVMF published Communications 015/2024-PRE and 28/2024-BSM with the new version of the Regulation of the Loss Compensation Mechanism (MRP).
Adapts assumptions for the judgment of appeals filed in MRP Proceedings to the provisions of CVM Resolution 220 establish jurisdiction of the Self-Regulation Council.
Extends deadlines to 5 days, for appeal statements and to present reasoned requests.
Allows a respondent to file counterclaims in the event of an appeal that is filed against a decision of partial admissibility, and allows the judging of appeals by connection.
Creates repetitive theme statement, for uniformity of decisions, speed and procedure.
MRP Regulation comes into force on Jan. 2, 2025, and will be found on BSM website.
