IDNA DoF proposed to amend rules at IDNA FIN 750-9 in Indiana Register, to permit certain independent contractors to become licensed mortgage loan originators (MLOs).
Proposal Highlights
IDNA DoF would expand the current definition of employee to let some independent contractors to become licensed MLOs, and add new section on consumer protection.
It would update registration of firms in mortgage loan processing and underwriting services supervision and sponsorship of individuals to conform to federal law.
