Indicators Overview
The Criteria Assessment Indicators (CAI) described in the document are provided as verifiable control points used to evaluate information during target validation process.
This document uses precise language to indicate the various requirements, as well as recommendations and the permissible options that companies may choose to follow.
They provide benchmarks for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Accounting and Sector-Specific Target Setting, relating to a variety of properties and ownership models, as set out.
The main document is supported by the SBTi Buildings Target-Setting Tool Version 1.0.
This Tool is intended to enable firms to develop appropriate science-based emissions reductions targets, as well as to assist in assessing and evaluating companies' targets.
