Bill Provisions
Provides that hospitals may not bill an uninsured patient if patient has household income that qualifies for free care under the Hospital Uninsured Patient Discount Act.
Further, provides that if the patient is eligible for public health insurance or any other insurance product, hospital shall inform patient about how to apply for the insurance.
