Registration is mandatory for active associations on the date of publication of new law.
More than 600 associations have registered since the system was enabled Apr. 2025.

BRZ INS enabled Registration System for Mutual Asset Protection Associations, in compliance with Complementary Law 213, and in agreement with Resolution 49.
Highlights
Before conducting the registration, the association must promote changes to its social statute or social contract to address item I of para. 1 of Art. 88-E of Decree Law 73.
In this way, the associations must be registered in BRZ INS by means of the Registry System of Mutualist Patrimonial Protection Associations, available on Autarquia site.
If the association choose not to conduct registration, they must close its patrimonial protection activities within 180 days as of the publication of Complementary Law 213.
Operating procedures for each session and necessary information and documents, are on BRZ INS site, association must follow guidelines in the system and in its manual.
Only the registrations conducted from Apr. 30, 2025 to Jul. 15, 2025 will be considered valid, and as long as all the parameters contained in system and in its manual are met.
Deadline
Associations exercising activities re protection against heritage risks, people, any other nature, including mutual aid and assistance should be registered by Jul. 15, 2025.
