Nasdaq Nordic published new corporate governance code 2025 in English and Finnish.
New Code
Corporate Governance Code 2025 will be complied as the recommendation on good corporate governance in listed companies in accordance with rules of Nasdaq Helsinki.
Applies to all issuers of shares on Nasdaq Helsinki, i.e. listed companies on main market, companies in premier segment of Nasdaq First North Growth Market Finland.
Amendments to the code are explained in the preface to the corporate governance code; the entries in the code concerning diversity were updated in particular.
Effectiveness
The code will enter into force as of Jan. 1, 2025 and it will replace the 2020 code.
