CHL LAB issued Advisory 693/26 in order to improve the laws related to the inclusion of labor re persons with disabilities and/or recipients of disability pension beneficiaries.
Highlights
Increased hiring quota, and allow companies that hire persons to provide services to the obligated companies who comply with their own reserve and hiring requirements.
Advisor also included reasons for not complying with quota re hiring disabled persons.
Modified requirements that donations must meet to comply with the hiring obligations.
Obligated companies must prepare a workplace protocol to ensure equal treatment for disabled persons, and make needed adjustments to recruit and select its personnel.
Addresses penalties for noncompliance with labor inclusion rules for disabled persons.
Effectiveness
Provisions enter into force as of Aug. 24, 2024, and first report due by Aug. 24, 2025.
Amendments to the penalties for non compliance will be effective as of Jan. 1, 2025.
