Assistance Measures
Government Savings Bank (GSB) offers micro-loan programs and SMEs loans, plus principal payments deferred until Dec. 2025, with partial interest payments.
Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives offers emergency loan program for farmers, for loan amount up to THB 50,000 and rehabilitation loan up to THB 500,000.
Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand supports SMEs through principal payment deferral, reduced installment payments, extended repayment terms.
Several other banks have also offered relief measures for affected customers.
Jul. 25, 2025 Thai CB Measures
On Jul. 25, 2025, Thai CB notified of financial measures for those affected by dispute, and issued a circular to request financial institutions to provide assistance to debtors.
The circular applies the same framework from circular 601/2567, see #224474.
Measures include reducing the minimum repayment rate of credit card loans for affected debtors for a period not exceeding 12 months, starting from Jul. 25, 2025.
Financial institutions may grant temporary emergency credit limits that exceed the standard limits set by Thai CB, up to a period of 12 months.
They may provide financial support to debtors by reducing or waiving interest and fees, relaxing repayment conditions, and restructuring debt.

Jul. 29, 2025 Further Measures
On Jul. 29, 2025, Thai GVT issued measures to support affected people and businesses including local-level measures and measures provided by state financial institutions.
Increase the government reserve fund by THB 100mn per province.
Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) will provide liquidity-enhancing loans to farmers, including soft loans for those affected.
Tax filing and payment deadlines for personal income tax, corporate income tax, withholding tax, value-added tax, and specific business tax and stamp duty has been extended from Jul. 24, 2025 to Aug. 31, 2025, to Sep. 30, 2025.
State financial institutions including GSB, BAAC will provide measures such as deferring repayment of principals, offering various loans to businesses and households.
Aug. 2025 Relief Measures Meeting
On Aug. 7, 2025, Thai GVT held a meeting with agencies from four affected provinces, Surin, Buriram, Sisaket, Ubon Ratchathani, to review support measures.
Insurance measures include extended premium payment deferrals for life and non-life insurance up to 91 days (31+60), waiver of health examinations, and interest exemptions up to 6 months for certain policy renewals.
Tax relief allows individuals to deduct home repair costs up to THB 100k and vehicle repair costs up to THB 30k, with extended filing deadlines until Sep. 30, 2025.
Specialized financial institutions have implemented debt moratorium measures, special recovery credit, low-interest loans, and housing rehabilitation credit programs.
Oct. 2025 Deadline Extension
On Oct. 27, 2025, Thai Tax announced an extension to the deadline for filing and paying taxes or remitting taxes in areas affected by Thai-Cambodian border dispute.
