The reporting deadline for national template is 20th working day after the last day of reference period (T+20), working days exclude weekends/Irish public holidays.
Agents required to begin submitting with reference to positions at end-Mar. 2019.

On Dec. 11, 2020, IRE CB published notes on compilation of AnaCredit data returns.

Nov. 16, 2021 National Template Return
On Nov. 16, 2021, IRE CB issued national template return notes on compilation version 1.4, to be read with template and notes on compilation for other AnaCredit returns.
Feb. 2022 Templates for Banks
On Feb. 21, 2022, IRE CB issued four versions of credit data template/rules for banks.
Issued a current version 2.8 of monthly data template/rules for banks and current version 2.6 of quarterly data template/rules for banks; both dated Oct. 31, 2021.
Also issued draft version 2.9 for monthly data and draft version 2.7 for quarterly data.
Oct. 2022 Notes on Compilation V2.9
On Oct. 1, 2022, IRE CB issued the final updated version 2.9 on notes on compilation.
Updated to 4.2.4.2.1 non-Irish identifier type, to reflect updates to the national identifiers list and when to submit Gen identifiers and to 4.2.3 description of valid LEIs.

On Oct. 6, 2022, IRE CB issued updated version 1.4 counterparty templates and rules.
The non-Irish identifiers domain list was updated to align with version 3.0 of list of national identifiers published on the ECB AnaCredit page on Jun. 30, 2022.

On Dec. 29, 2022, IRE CB issued AnaCredit Data Returns Notes on Compilationv3.0.
Added Croatia to the list of reporting member States with effect from Jan. 1, 2023.
Mar. 2023 Counterparty Templates
On Mar. 24, 2023, IRE CB issued version 1.5 of the counterparty templates and rules.
States that the non-Irish identifiers domain list was updated to align with version 3.1 of the list of national identifiers published on ECB AnaCredit page on Jun. 30, 2022.
And that the address postal code domain list was updated to align with the RegEx format V1.1 which was published on the ECB website on Jul. 29, 2022.
Apr. 2023 Quarterly Credit Data Template and Rules
On Apr. 24, 2023, IRE CB issued updated credit data template/rules for banks.
Draft and final version of credit data template and rules quarterly for banks issued.
All Irish resident credit institutions are subject to the reporting requirements laid out in the AnaCredit regulation 2016/867 (ECB/2016/13); reporting commenced in Jan. 2018; first reporting of credit data took place in Oct. 2018, data referring to end-Sep.

Oct. 2024 Reporting Population
On Oct. 8, 2024, IRE CB issued updated data on AnaCredit reporting population.
Lists all Irish resident credit institutions that are subject to the reporting requirements laid out in the AnaCredit Regulation, and sets out all names of reporters, accordingly.

On Aug. 1, 2025, IRE CB issued counterparty template v2.1 effective Oct. 31, 2025.
