URY CB published instructions on how to report statistical information on claims.
Form A: Claims Database
The entity must complete its code in each line of the report in a timely manner.
All claims received in the reported period will be detailed for each product/service.
The claim number (or internal code) that was provided to the client at the time of receipt must be provided in the form and must meet the integrity requirement.
Database may only be modified in each quarter and the date of receipt of the claim must be given, as well as the date on which the answer has been provided.
If the claim is pending resolution, the field in the form will be reported empty.
The amount claimed by the client will be reported using Uruguayan pesos.
For the conversion of US dollars, quote will be used of the average US dollar fund.
When the claim was resolved within the quarter, its outcome will be indicated.
Form B
Included further information such as the number of clients who have contracted the product/service and the total number of active clients associated with each product.
Also number of complaints discriminated by type of product/service along with total number of complaints received will be indicated for each type of product or service
Average response time by type of product or service expressed in number of days.
Effectiveness
Submission of forms must be within 15 business days after the close of each quarter.
This Communication will come into force as of Jan. 1, 2025.
