WAS DoL adopted rule to implement requirements of substitute HB 2127 relating to workers' compensation vocational rehabilitation, pursuant to WAS LEG 296-19A.
Follows passage of HB 2127 workers' comp incentives to return to work, see #204950.
Adopted Rule
Rulemaking updates benefit amounts for job modification, pre-job accommodations.
The rule also clarifies the ability of vocational counselors to help workers access skill enhancement training and how these skills are reported, corrects certain references.
Effectiveness
Final rule becomes effective on Jan. 1, 2025.
