  • SBA offered disaster assistance to Arkansas small businesses following economic losses that occurred as a result of excessive rain, winds, and flooding May 22, 2024.

  • Aid is available in Arkansas counties of Lee, Crittenden, Monroe, Phillips, and St. Francis, and neighboring MS county of Tunica, which was similarly affected by storms.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture may qualify for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) of up to $2mn.
  • To help meet expenses that could have been met if the disaster had not occurred.
