Proposed Amendments
Rule amended to remove the $4 MVCPA fee amount; insurer must pay the MVCPA fee.
Updated notice that insurer must provide to policyholder when insurer seeks to recoup MVCPA fee; added fee helps to fund detection, prevention of catalytic converter thefts.
If insurer recoups fee from policyholder, insurer must file a new or revised notice.
Insurer not need to include actual fee amount in filed notice; may use a variable field.
